To Whom It May Concern,
When I was 12 years old, I was a Den Chief for my brother's Cub Scout pack. We had just purchased a shiny new pinewood derby track with a laser start gate and an infrared finish line. It had the potential to interface with a computer to automate the race rotations and keep track of finish times. Unfortunately, we were missing the cable to connect the track to a computer. Desiring to utilize the new track to its fullest potential, I went home to my room to solve the problem. An hour later, I came downstairs with cable in hand-assembled from spare parts.
Technology tends to create puzzles that need to be solved. I love generating resolutions, solving puzzles, and boosting performance. I have enjoyed the challenge of creating things that increase productivity and efficiency. This has driven me to learn continuously, enabling me to face those challenges. Gaining experience with technology allows me to create or change methods in ways that help others improve their individual or collective performance.
I find great satisfaction in solving problems, such as the missing cable for the pinewood derby track. Therefore, I have consistently increased my knowledge about technology. I've also enjoyed improvising, leading a team, and learning quickly. I look forward to opportunities through employment to utilize and develop my skills.
Thank you for your consideration,
